Hello,
I'm using the latest RL-ARM (3.50). Occasionally, a RTX task remains hanging (usually that happens after long runs - at least a day) - even a totally innocent looking task. I managed to catch it once with the debugger and it seems that the delay timer of the task is not decremented anymore - however the other tasks run normally. Keil said something about 3.40 having some known deadlocks of RTX - have you noticed these too?I will contact tech. support tomorrow and will report further details if necessary.
LPC2478, thus ARM7 core.
I wanted to inform you about the results of the weekend tests we have conducted related to RTX's stability issues: We have run a test on 2 different systems. My test rig has remained hanging - I know with certainty that the LCD task and RS485 task failed, but the processor did not crash (firmware LED remains blinking). The other system, however, did not hang and sees to function normally. Both were built using RL-ARM test version 3.60. Keil support has been informed.
I'm still staying with 3.20. Haven't seen any issues yet, that hasn't been blameable on me.
