ethernet using a micro (u) processor

Hello:

I need to interface a processor 77248A-USA to the internet using a cable (RB23G), just to exchange short frames with a remote server (4-5 kilo (k) bytes), I don't have experience in this domayn, can anyone help me and provides some useful links or an already made project?
