pragma and scatter file

Dear Sir, I have read example code.
#pragma arm section rwdata = "foo", rodata = "bar"
int x2 = 5; // in foo (data part of region)
int y2[100]; // in .bss
int const z2[3] = {1,2,3};

Now i want to place x2 data at a particular memory location(0x40000020) using scatter file. how can i do this.As pragma is used to name the section and this name is used to link using scatter file.

Kindly tell, how can i use this pragma to name the section and then placing the variable at a particular memory location using scatter file.

Thanks

  • Per, it is simple.

    Since this person was laid off, I am 100% certain that he didn't want the computer being used for the development to contain his "posting name" used if any new postings were later made by some idiot using *that* computer.

    And I am 100% certain that the mispelled "Laide" was due to the CEO was standing at his cube explaining how he needs the packing up process to hurry up because he had other people to "let go" before a company-wide meeting on how this this round of downsizing was going to be followed by a another round within 30-days. And the need to pack up his stuff with tactfulness and grace was important to the welbeing of the impending doom of the project, the company, and the company's investors, by not alerting the others on who are going to get their heads cut-off within minutes.

    I am also 100% certain that this person is going to do well because the CEO is a very influential on a world-wide basis, and this Mr. Good Bye's credentials are impecable, so the CEO is going to hand-deliver Mr. Good Bye's his resume to various top level CEOs of major corporations.

    And I am 100% certain that Mr. Good Bye's well established contacts are going to be very pleased to know that Mr. Good Bye is now available for *their* companies.

    Or, Mr. Good Bye will be doing contract work for some major companies on major projects and ultimately make some bigger-bucks that way.

    Cheers,
