Hi all, Iam quite confused to know whats the difference between 8051 and C8051F411.(what does C,F stands for).
One more question is when i am seeing the datasheet of c8051f411,it showed me as CIP-51 microcontroller. Can any one tell me the full form of CIP
I was using C8051F340 and i used to have the same question about CIP-51,but it seems that it's no need to know what it's short for, just patent of Cygnal(now it's silabs). But i am pretty sure that C is for "Cygnal", F for "flash memory".
Sounds a reasonable guess!
Might also be 'C' for "CMOS"...?
Wasn't Cygnal's original name "Cygnal Integrated Products"?
Perhaps that's the source of CIP.
to the OP: see my answer in parallel thread with same title
to all others: do not bother, it is not your fault that the OP double posts to make trhe whole thing utterly confusing
Erik
