For reasonably mature chips, that information is always available on the manufacturers web site. For preproduction chips, you may have to call the manufacturer or an distributor and request them to send you the documentation.

I contacted NXP regarding same & got following response

There is no Errata sheet available for the LPC2388 at this time. Please check regularly this page: www.standardics.nxp.com/.../ where it will be posted as soon as it becomes available.

Mr Xafar;
There may be no errata sheet for the LPC2388 but check further for errata sheets on the LPC23xx family.
For example, there are a number of errata on the LPC2378. The errata may or may not apply to both devices but it will at least alert you to some of the known problems for the device family.
On this forum, we often say 'read the data sheet' but I say for the LPC23xx family 'read the data sheet but do not believe all that you read'. I have found several errors in the data sheet on the LPC2378 that I spent days trying to correct my design/code only to FINALLY get NXP to respond the data sheet was in error.
