You should try industrial espionage...
Real elevator manufacturers either have their own EE engineers or (if they are very small) possibly hire consultants for developing their electronics and software.
They do not publish their work on Internet, since they do not want competitors to reap the benefits of their own hard work. In a commercial world, it is the quality of your equipment, the quality of your marketing channels and the cost of the product that may make a difference.
