error - can't create command input file '(null)'

I receive this error when compiling a existing project made from another uVision compiler (I don't have this version yet). I did not write the code for this project and the only change I made to the project was to allow. I have almost read the entire manual and searched this forum and have not found any information yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Delete all the intermediate file and try a clean build.

The problem was I did not have my directories setup on an external batch file that was run after compilation.
