Hi,
I am really new to all this.i ma using mcb2140,ulink2 and microvision v3.62.I can download example programs hex file through lpc 2000 utility and serial cable. But i am having problems with ulink. Can u please answer my following questions:
1)what jumper settings is required to connect,download,debug and run example programs through jtag and ulink. I know J9 has to be on but also do j10 affects?If J10 is on i see nothing or jtag communicatÃon failure in project options->debug->ulink arm debugger->settings->jtag device chain. But if i remove j10 i see idcode,devicename,irlen in project options->debug->ulink arm debugger->settings->jtag device chain.
2)if i remove j10 jumper it shows the jtag device but when i try to load the application(by pressing load button in microvision),I get error "could not stop arm device,please check the jtag cable"
please any help or suggestions will be appreciated thanks
I don't have the board right here, yet, but the Jumper next to the JTAG port must be set, and the ISP jumper must be off. Perhaps the RST Jumper must be set.
If you reprogram the JTAG Pins you can set the RST and the ISP Jumper, remove the JTAG Jumper and erase the Controller with the Philips Flash Tool and a serial cable.

The problems about jumper j10 are mainly caused that COM0 is still connected to a PC.
