10m is not long distances. It's just a question of bandwidth. How short pulses must be possible to detect.
But it is important that the wires are twisted, and there should be the usual EMI filtering and overvoltage protection.
Unless all 30 are in 1 long line - giving a total of 300m...
And that is one of the problems with the OP post. Too little information, so no use speculating.
