Need help on ADC 0804

The Datasheet was just step 1 - you now need to proceed to steps 2 and 3, don't you?

i have all the file but some prob in my circuit

iam trying to read P2 value using AT89S8252 with following code. always its showing the value 0 only

i have initialized the adc with the following code.

        READ=1;WRITE=1;INTP=1;
        delayloop(1);
        WRITE=0;
        delayloop(1);
        WRITE=1;

still what else iam missing other than the sence? :)
