simple 8051 task

Hi,masters on 8051,cc transceivers family.I have been creating a aplication on cc1110 f32 transceiverIm getting problems on rx mode, one of the transceivers is programmed to recognize a clasic burst of preambule eg(0x5AA5)lenght bytes CRC,ID bytes,so on ,but waiting a unique payload data of 3 bytes,3 bytes that rule everything on the aplication. The aplicacion must recognize the first of the 3,then the second and finally the 3 one.from lefht to right,if a first byte is 5,then trigger a function that consist of led-blink that repeat(call)the function 5 times, the function is the only one in the aplication,a simple turn on--pause--turn of--pause,then if the second if 2 then 2 times the function run again and finnaly the 3 byte (byte 0 takes no action).I need a simple procedure of reading bytes from lefh to right(I tried a case,if elseif, switch, break, the 729 posibilities so on but only think this way is stupid.I think any knowledge of CC1110 transceivers is unnecesary for this task,is pure and simple 8051.Thanks
Dmitry
