NOINIT in Keil Real View Compiler

Hi,
I'm using Keil uVision 3 IDE and ARM Real View Compiler. I want not to initialize some variables (some unions, structures, etc). I tried out with the compiler directive "#pragma NOINIT", but with no success. Even selcting the NOINIT checkbox in the "Target" settings of the project did not help.

If anyone has any idea about this please let me know.
