Im using Keil tools for my project. I need to porting eCos on MCB2300.
Can you help me using uVision to porting it? Thanks all.
I must have this for the 8051. is the mcb2300 cpompatible?
You _must_ have eCos ported to the 8051?
Are you sure?
Have you compared the architecture between the 8051 and the LPC23xx?
Have you checked the hw requirements for eCos?
The MCB2300 specification is here: http://www.keil.com/mcb2300/
Does it look like an 8051-compatible board to you?!
Im using eCos porting for ARM with MCB2300. My project implement a webserver. I use lwIP + eCos + MCB2300 + uVision 3.20 tools. I dont know how to start for my project.
Im reading Ethernet chapter in "User manual LPC23xx". How to write a driver for eCos, lwIP know MCB2300.

Yes. I reference it. It use Gcc. I build Toolchain use gcc,... for my Project. But have much error. So i use Keil Toolchain. But, I dont have document for Keil toolchain, how to porting eCos on MCB2300 with Keil tools (uVision)
Thanks again.
Porting an OS is not a job for a newbie, I'm afraid!
You need to spend some time doing some simple projects to gain familiarity with the tools, the target, etc.
As Erik would say, you need to learn to walk before you try to run!
Well, you have already been given this link: ecos.sourceware.org/hardware.html
Did you take a look at it? Right in the very first paragraph it says, "For further information concerning the porting of eCos, see the porting section of the FAQ."
So, did you take a look at the FAQ? It has a link to "Porting eCos ... to a new target system"
Did you follow that link? It has a link to "How would I go about porting eCos to a new processor?"
That sounds like the kind of place you should be starting - doesn't it?
