Zgbee

hi all ,

first, i am sorry for asking this queston here .

I am interested to lean Zigbee,Because the present work which i am doing on LPC2103 (a wireless communication board)will be more useful if i can provide the zigbee facility on it .

could anybody tell me where i can find the good information & links for downloading the books ,It will be really helpful for me to step in to this field.

Please share your experience if anybody worked on zigbee?

Thanks,
Paul

  • "first, i am sorry for asking this queston here"

So why did you do it not just once, but twice!?

Your best bet will be to find a Zigbee module or chipset that can be linked to your LPC2103.

There are many vendors; they can't use the Zigbee(TM) name without approval - so start at www.zigbee.org/.../certified_products.asp

  • Look at http://www.maxstream.net
For $19 (qty 1) you can buy a FCC approved module.

  • hi,

Neil, "twice" because i misspelled the "ZigBee" in subject.

Currently we have a freescale devolopment kit for ZigBee,which i am trying to interface with my board.
If my this approch is succes i will surely go for the chipset .

at present i need to know more about the zigbee,Could you guys please tell where i can get the more details?

    waiting for the reply,

    thanks,
    Paul

  • "twice because i misspelled the 'ZigBee' in subject."

But you didn't need to re-post the entire message, did you?
You could just have said, "Oops - subject should be 'Zigbee'", or something, couldn't you?

"i need to know more about the zigbee, Could you guys please tell where i can get the more details?"

Surely, the obvious place must be http://www.zigbee.org - as already mentioned?!

Freescale have loads of information and links on their site, as will other Zigbee providers.

(Keil does not produce any Zigbee products).
