I use Win2k, a XC164CS starter Kit and the ULINK2 with KEIL, uVision and Dave.
When i connect the ULINK, i see 2 appearing HID Devices in the device manager, but no device called ULINK (i'm not shure if i's ok so).
The uVision doesn't see any ULINK device. Of course i connected the uC board to 9V and the ulink to it. I tried both jumper states for powering the ulink (3V3 and ARM).

now i heard that dell computers donÄt allow mouses and keyboards on all usb ports, so I changed the ULINK2 usb port to a sure working USB Port of the Keyboard. The PC told me that the ULINK device was found and installed it. But i doesn't see it in uVision.
Which software versions are you using? What is reported in Help - About?
thanks. i wrote mmister keil and he answereds that i should use the new version. then it worked. but i don't understand why because the version i used before was on the cd of the ulink2 and alredy worked 1 year ago.
