Timer problem with 89C51

Hi all,

I am using timer 0 of 8051 in 16-bit mode with 12MHz crystal.

but when genarating freq. in increasing oder the output freq. is not linear but it increases in logarithimic form.

i writen the program in C using keil c51 compiler.

please suggest me where I doing mistek.
