Trouble with AT89C51ED2

i have bought a mini-board that has an ICP connection and was trying to program it using keil uvision3. since i use my laptop, i had to interface the USB with RS232, so i used USB to DB9 serial port. First question, i am not sure if the keil would recognize the target board mentioned below through this USB adapter. the second question is for this kind of programming what kind of configuration (flash configuration) in keil software i should use ? what is ULINK ?

kindest regards

    What "mini-board"?

    "that has an ICP connection"

What sort of "ICP connection" does it have?
Is it intended to work with a standard PC COM: port?
Is it supported by Keil, or any of the utilities that Keil support (eg, FlashMagic)?

"i am not sure if the keil would recognize the target board mentioned below"

You didn't mention any target board "below", and you didn't give any details "above" - so how can anyone tell?!

"what kind of configuration (flash configuration) in keil software i should use ?"

Again, you haven't given sufficient information to answer this, other than to say read the Manual for the board, and do whatever it tells you!

    "what is ULINK ?"
