Hi all
We are doing a project on Escalator, using LPC2378 controller, for this project i am using Keil micro vision3 but for getting the TUV standard certification they recommend FreeRTOS ,if the source code is supplied with FreeRTOS or openRTOS then its easy to get the certification,
Can i use the RTX kernel provided by keil for MCB2300 board to develope my application, since example program for LPC2378 in keil is not provided in http://www.FreeRTOS.org ,
PLZ Suggest
Regards Suresh
Sure, you can use the RTX kernel, my experiences told me it is stable.
Thanks but the code is in assembly language can any one provide source code in C language because i am not familiar with assembly language
Are your question: Can someone rewrite an assembler module to C for me, because I can't understand assembler?
Have you looked for consultants?
Are you aware that some programs do have their source code specifically written in assembler? There are no magic assembler to C translation possible.
Hi
Yes , i know some programs are written in assembly language, but that assembly function where are they written i can c them when i debug the source code , how to modify them to use according to my application and how do i know what are they doing in the function .any document regarding that will be useful to study.
What is this "TUV standard certification"?
How will using FreeRTOS help you get it?

The IEC61508 and the TUV has certified that SafeRTOS is a verified to use for development of safety related project so instead of using any other tool for development and getting it verified by TUV its better to use what they have certified that wil be easy for us to get the certification easily without any hurdles
