Flash Read/Write

Hi

I am using Atmel Sam7SE512 controller and LPC2378.For safety purpose i have to have a duplicate of my flash memory and have to do a power on self test,so how to test my ROM and RAM part to make it conform that my flash and the internal RAM are correctly functioning.

Also i have to make a duplicate copy of my code and save it in my ROM .Any one having the idea, plz share with me.
