Hi. I know that this thread may not correspond to this forum, but I hope some users know about this subject. What kind of light batteries I can use for Phytec KitCON-161 eval board(supply voltage: 8-12V / 500mA). First of all I used 12V from PC. I tryed a 9V Zinc Chloride battery but the eval board can't run with it. Could it run with an unrechargeable battery? Thanks. Damian
Note that a 12V lead-acid battery normally gives more than 12V, depending on current charge state.
8 NiCD or NiMH cells should be suitable for the task. They have less inner resistance than alkaline batteries.
