I'm using a ulink2 and an evaluation version of UVision3 to automate loading our application (as a .hex file) on a STR710FZ2 chip. We run UVision3 from the command line, and sometimes have problems.
Sometimes UVision hangs and I have to unplug the USB cable from the ULink2 in order to get UVision3 to display warning dialog boxes so it will then quit nicely.
A few other times, I get a dialog box with the following message: "Cannot load Flash Programming algorithm"
The goal configuration is connecting the ulink2 through a hub. When the ulink2 is connected directly to the computer the problems happen less frequently, but still occur. Optimally I'd like a robust connection through the hub, but I'd settle for a more robust connection directly to the computer.
