Thanks for your reply. You are perhaps the only one who is thinking the same thing as me. I have asked manufacturers and technical support, they do answer my question but not up to the point. Yes, my GSM modem is a module and thus it can be connected through a RS232 or it can be connected to a microcontroller without the RS232. Right now I am trying to get the right baud rate with the clock frequency, so that the module and the microcontroller will be speaking the same language. Tell me more if you have more to tell me. I really appreciate your feedback which is right to the point.
