MCBx51 Eval Board eproms

Hello,
The school I am attending is using a MCBx51, I
believe, eval board for 8051 training.

We are required to buy two eproms for use in the
class? (Two OTP's)

Thanks in advance.

Don't just "believe" - check it, and be sure

    See: http://www.keil.com/support/man/docs/mcbx51/mcbx51_intro.htm

"We are required to buy ... two OTP's"

Why are you specifically required to buy OTPs?
For school use, wouldn'r eraseable ones be more appropriate?

"Would this UV erase EPROM work?"

But I thought you said you were required to get OTPs?

Anyhow, OTPs are just UV-EPROMs without a window - so that's not an issue operationally.

The difference between the M27C512-90B6 and MC27C512-10F1 is in the timing specs.
You need to check the datasheets, and the MCBx51 Manuals to see what'll work.

The different suffixes probably also indicate different packages - be sure to get ones that'll fit the board...!
