Hi,
I've been having issues with uVision3 crashing, the error message reported is an application error:
The instruction at "0x04d5e146" referenced memory at "0x0000001d". The memory could not be "read".
This message appears after starting debug mode. The program is successfully uploaded to onchip flash, or RAM. The Dissemble window appears, and uVision crashes.
The the code runs successfully when it is uploaded to flash, and the CPU reset.
I am using an NXP LPC2888 micro, with the ULINK2 debugger. These are my versions of software:
Armcc.exe: 3.1.0.903 Armasm.exe: 3.1.0.903 ArmLink.exe: 3.1.0.903 ArmAr.exe: 3.1.0.903 FromElf: 3.1.0.903 SARM.DLL: 3.11 DARMP.DLL: 1.2.1 BIN\UL2ARM.DLL: 1.30 TARMP.DLL 1.2.1 KeilUL.sys: 2.10.0.0
Thanks,
Daniel Farrell
We need to replicate this problem. Can you send us a test project to support.intl@keil.com?
I apologise for the delay... I will be sending an example soon.
Thanks
Was this issue ever resolved? I am having the exact same problem. I am also using a ULINK2, the latest uVision3, and an LPC2888. I can build and download a program, but when I try to debug - uVision3 crashes.
