VSS 2005 Support in uVision3

I have a problem to integrate VSS 2005 (Visual SourceSafe version 8) to uVision. VSS 2005 request to set the SSDIR environment variable before execution of the program. The problem is that when I add this variable to the Environment field in the uVision SVCS Window, the VSS program refuses to run.
Can anyone help?

I forgot to mention that I use uVision 3.51 and C51 version 8.08a
