Dear Frineds,
I have to create a RF communication between two distant 51 microcontrollers, i.e upto 700 meters. I am aware of the microcontrollers but i want to know some details about the RF communications IC's that can be used to achieve the range mentioned above. At the same time i would like have some useful material about RF communication for long distances.
Please suggest the details required,
regards, chandu
This doesn't really hav anything to do with Keil software tools.
Apart from devices with an onboard 8051, chips and modules are completely agnostic to whatever device (microcontroller, PC, terminal, PLC, etc, etc) may be connected!
Here's some links to get you started:
General: http://www.rfsolutions.co.uk/ www.lprs.co.uk/.../related.sites.php
With onboard 8051: http://www.keil.com/dd/chips/nordic/8051.htm http://www.keil.com/dd/chips/chipcon/8051.htm
Also, try putting "RF" into the 'Search' box...!
If you use GSM, you don't have to worry about any RF details at all, and the range is effectively unlimited - just so long as there is GSM coverage in the area(s) concerned...
but there are usage charges...
