I take the shortcut and add

by 'rule of thumb' for projext a I needed by 'rule of thumb' 0 for projext b I needed by 'rule of thumb' 8 k byte for projext c I needed by 'rule of thumb' 2 M byte
all figured by adding
The general rule is a variation of Parkinson's Law:
"No matter how much RAM you have, you programmers will fill it"
Same can be applied to ROM, MIPS, IO Pins, etc, etc,... ;-)
