C167, bootstrap mode, watchdog

Hi,

Is there some trick to leave bootstrap mode on a C167 without issueing a full (software) reset?

In bootstrap mode, you can't have an enabled watchdog, but when you do a software reset, you loose the BUSCON registers (the app is running in RAM) and the processor will try to run from ROM again, not the application in RAM... Chicken/egg-like problem. Is there some other way to leave bootstrap mode or enable the watchdog?

The idea was to have a running test app (including watchdog) started using bootstrap mode.

I believe the XC167 has an extra opcode to enable the watchdog... Now I understand the X :-)
