Hi, Is it possible to determine the external clock frequency dynamicaly in my firmware even though the clock crystal on board is changed.

"Can you please be more specific ..." For example, the periodic output of a RTC, or less practically, measuring the bit width of serial receive pin changes when "trained" with the character 'U' (alternating ones and zeroes). Now you should get the idea.
Can you please be more specific,<p> Basically, what you need is some way measure time that is not dependent on the processor clock. Depending on the actual specifications, you can be as creative as you wish. A simple possibility would be measuring the time constant of a RC circuit.
