Baud rate with external crystal

I set up my LPC932 to use the independant baud rate generator at 9600,using the internal RC oscillator. During my project I changed to an external oscillator (12MHz). Do I have to reconfigure the BRGR registers to get the same baud rate with the new oscillator?
