I recently switched from using the KEIL CARM to the KEIL RealView compiler. Seems to me like the automatic dependancy checking prior to the build doesn't work anymore. I say this because I can change things in my header files and do a "build" and the compiler doesn't start. Instead, the linker just re-links the object files. I went back to older projects that used the CARM compiler and confirmed that when I edit header files and then do a "build" the compiler does recompile all the files that include that changed header file. I haven't been able to find an option in the IDE to enable or disable automatic dependancy checking. Does anyone know if that feature was purposefully removed? Can anyone tell me how to re-enable that feature to work in RealView compiler enabled projects?
