XC866 Easy Kit - RS232 Comms

I am having trouble connecting to the new Infineon XC866 Easy Kit via PC Uart ? I have tried different cables, Easy Kit boards, power supplies and even teo different PC's. But I simply can not connect to download the Blinky example.

Any suggestions ?

    Hi Kobus,

    I had the same problem too at beginning.
    Assuming the the RTS timing is OK, the following was the solution to me.

    Since some versions of the kit come with preinstalled blinky, you must try, however to
    program over.
    For this I used monXC800 from Hitex.
    If RESET is pressed an J3 is connected to left side (MCB) request a system connect from
    HiTOP GUI.
    ( This can takes several tries,
    since the OCDS must catch the processor).
    Than I download the clock example and all works fine.
