I use AT89C4051 chip and HT1621B LCD.I have no problem with writing but I can not read from HT1621.When I set bit P1^6 to read the data from HT1621,I can not write to HT1621 anymore eventhough I clear bit P1^6 to make it output latch.Please help me solve this problem.

    If yoo do not tell what p1.6 is connected to, tghe best answer I can give is When I set bit P1^6 the moon turn blue.
