How to create .EXE files?
Does this qualify as the stupidest ever question on this forum?
if u know the answer try to give otherwise please carry u r work
Your question showed such a complete lack of understanding of what the Keil tools are for that I thought your question was stupid, sorry. The idea of creating .exe files from Keil does not make a lot of sense unless you have ported MSDOS/windows to an 8052
If, by ".EXE file", you mean something to run on a PC under MS-DOS or windows, then YOU CANNOT DO THIS WITH THE KEIL TOOLS! If, on the other hand, the ".EXE" bit is a red herring and you do actually want to know how to create something to run on an 8051, then you need to read the uVision Getting Started Guide - and work through the example Projects in it. This will walk you through the whole process, and give you a proper introduction to the tools.
if u know the answer try to give otherwise please carry u r work If your willingness to figure this out is on par with your willingness to write (you) then good riddance. Erik
"Does this qualify as the stupidest ever question on this forum?" It's well up there but I fear Mr. Rohan Rohan does not quite take first prize. Sadly.
"unless you have ported MSDOS/windows to an 8052" Which, in itself, makes no sense!
My answer to the original question: "Press the F7 key". I fear Mr. Rohan Rohan does not quite take first prize First prize, then, I must see. A link, perhaps?
