Dear All, I am a new 8051 user. I can only search the A/D example program for T87C5111 in atmel. I would like to know what if i want to write a simple A/D program for T89c51ac2. Would any people here post the code for that ? Thanks a lot. Best Regards
"I am a new 8051 user." Start with the basics: Standard advice: First, you need to read the uVision Getting Started guide, and work through the example projects in it. You need to read the following documents - commonly referred to as "the bible" for the 8051: http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/various/80C51_FAM_ARCH_1.pdf http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/various/80C51_FAM_PROG_GUIDE_1.pdf http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/various/80C51_FAM_HARDWARE_1.pdf Are you also a newbie to 'C' programming in general? If so, you'll also need a good 'C' textbook. Here are some other introductory & reference materials: http://www.keil.com/books/8051books.asp http://www.8052.com/books.phtml http://www.8052.com/tutorial.phtml You will need to read the Data Sheet for your particular processor, and the Manual(s) for your any development boards, etc. You will need to read the Manuals for the C51 Compiler, A51 Assembler, etc, etc,...
Thanks for your advice. However, I really would like to get the sample code the that chips. Would any people can help ?
I just want to get the reference code for learning. I know I should start from the basic, however, i believe that i don't have enough time for doing that. Hope some ppl can help
"I know I should start from the basic, however, i believe that i don't have enough time for doing that." You are kidding yourself: If you don't have that basic understanding, how can you build anything on that? You must have a firm foundation on which to build anything! If you skimp on the basics now, it will come back to bite you later - and the time wasted sorting out your fundamental lack of understanding will be far greater than the time needed to gain that understanding in the first place!
I know I should start from the basic, however, i believe that i don't have enough time for doing that. Since you believe such si possible, may I suggest you take up long distance swimming - let a boat drop you 20 miles from shore. Erik
