uVision2 V2.1 crashing on Windows XP

Good Morning;

If you are using a Cypress EZ-USB-FX kit tool on Windows XP, have you experienced
the debugger crashing. It has come to a point that you have to do a complete reboot.
The version of the keil tools is the uVision2
v2.1

Any ideas?

    Well, v2.1 is quite old now - maybe it predates XP?
    Does it actually say that it should work on XP?

    If it's just the debugger crashing, the problem may well lie in the interface to the Cypress EZ-USB-FX, rather than uVision itself.
    You'd have to speak to the interface provider (Cypress?) about that.

    You should try the latest versions of both uVision & the Driver.

    Good Afternoon Andy:

    The factory Cypress tech support said it works on the windows xp. However, I am not sure if they are using the eval tools that shipped with their dev kit.

    Do you know what is the current version of uVision2 ? Is there a eval one that one could try?

    I believe the eval download is always the latest version.

    I have v2.39 (C51 v7.07) - I think there's been one update since?
