C++ Compiler for C167CS

According to Dan Saks in the October Issue of Embedded Systems Programming:

I can think of only a couple legitimate reasons for using C instead of C++. First, you might not be able to find an adequate C++ compiler for your target platform..

Does anybody have an idea when Keil will create a C++ compiler for the C167?

  • An EC++ compiler was added in version 4.22. The current version (4.27) still shows EC166.exe being a beta release. I haven't used it but I would guess that the evaluation tools would include it if you want to give it a try.
