Hello All, I've been trying to download a very small code into a MSC1210Y5, just to clear P0.0 and somehow nothing is happening. I tried building then downloading the sample projects from this site (UART, A-D) and still nothing happens. I'm pretty sure I downloaded the code properly because I can view it using the Boot ROM and everything seems to be in the right places. This is my first time to deal with 8051s and it is my understanding that the reset vector is 0x0000. How should I configure HCR0 and HCR1? Right now I'm setting it to 0xFC and 0xFF respectively. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. -John G-
