I am trying to start a project using the AT89C51ED2 and uVision 2.03. However, cannot find header files or support files for the ED2 version of this 80C51. Can't find support at Keil website or at Atmel's website. I especially need to be able to debug the SPI port. It looks like great chip though, with 64K of program, and about 2K of Xram and EEPROM. Anyone have any experience with working with this device in Keil? MG
"The website lists support for this device, but I find no Header File for either the RD2 or the ED2 version." The supported devices listed on the website are for the current versions of the tools but, as Jon just said, you have an old version of the tools - from before that device was supported. If you're just starting your project, now would be a good time to get up-to-date! Anyhow, AFAIK, if you download the free eval version of the latest tools, you'll get all the latest headers.
