Dear Sir/Madam, I am interested in evaluating the 8051 C++ compiler by installing the 8051 C++ demo. The included readme file claims the "C51 V7.01 Evaluation" to be used. I have tried to download it from http://www.keil.com, but the version one can obtain there at the moment is the "C51 V7.03 Evaluation". Could someone e-mail me the "C51 V7.01 Evaluation"? Thanks in advance for your attention Regards N. Salerno _______________________________________ Ing. Nicola Salerno ALENIA SPAZIO S.p.A. If your evaluating, why would you want to start off with an out-of-date version??!!
8051 C++ compiler it is C not stupid C++, darn it. Erik
My interest is in evaluating the 8051 C++ compiler(produced by http://www.ceibo.com) which requires specifically (only for the evaluation version) the "C51 V7.01 Evaluation". For a detailed information see http://www.ceibo.com
Go ahead, turn our beloved '51 into a small PC with Redmondian crashes, bloated code and come back here in a few months and cry about the hardware not being fast enough and too small memory capacity. The '51 is a microcontroller if you want C++ get a microprocessor. Also trying to do bloated C++ with a 2k limited Eval version must be the joke of the year. Erik
Erik, Have you tried the Ciebo C++? Stefan
