C500 compilation error

Hi,

I am developing Cypress USB FX2 firmware and using Keil IDE.While compiling my code I am facing following warning :

WARNING C500 : MISSING DEVICE :SECURITY KEY NOT FOUND..

I looked in to the document related with that warning but could not find anything.

Please help me in this regard. ANy help is appreciated.

  • I am also facing the same problem while compiling my code. Can you please elaborate on this dongle key & how to sort this matter ?

  • In some territories (everywhere outside the US?), the software licence is enforced by a hardware key known as a "dongle."

    The dongle must be connected to the LPT: (or USB?) port - otherwise you will get this error!

    Some operating systems (eg, NT) may require a driver for the dongle - check the Knowledgebase.

    If you believe that you have purchased a genuine product and that it should not require a dongle, you should contact Keil support.
