Hello, When using CS-RCS as a revision control system, one always has to select the file in the Project window first before modifications (like checking in, checking out) can be done via the SVCS pull down menu (only then, the SVCS pull down menu is selecting the correct file). I wonder if it is possible to adapt the CS-RCS capabilities of the uVision2 IDE as proposed below: - Make the active window in the editor the default file given in the SVCS pull down menu. - When right-clicking on a file in the project window, add the SVCS related items to the popup menu that appears. To my humble opinion, this would make the revision control system less cumbersome to use. Less manipulations should have to be done to achieve the same result as the current setup. Is there a way to change the SVCS behavior ourselves? Rgds, Geert
"When using CS-RCS as a revision control system, one always has to select the file in the Project window" This applies generally to the entries on the Tools menu - not just the RCS stuff. "Make the active window in the editor the default file given in the SVCS pull down menu." Yes, I would find that more "natural" - again, it applies to anything on the Tools menu - not just the SVCS stuff. "When right-clicking on a file in the project window, add the SVCS related items to the popup menu that appears." Rather than just the SVCS items, I would say all items from the Tools menu.
