As has often been opined before, the trouble with IDEs is that they try to be Jacks of all trades, but end up as masters of none! I'm afraid that I never use uVision for printing because, as you have obviously observed, uVision's printing capabilities are limited in the extreme! I was printing syntax colouring in the editors of the time 10 years ago - uVision still can't even print basic monochrome highlighting! (just bold, italic, etc)
