Does anybody know what is that CMD 'CM16C550PE' chip on the KEIL's MCBx51. What does it do? Does anybody have a datasheet for it. I tried to find it on the web with no luck. It is not even mentioned in KEIL's documentation.
The 16550 is a UART chip. In fact, it's the same one used in most PC's. Its use is described on page 12 and 21 in the MCBx51 User's Guide. Jon
