I am a student at a technical college in Denmark, and i'm currently working on my final project, involving developement on a XC161 starterkit. My question is, is it possible to connect this board through the wiggler mounted on the board to the parallel port on a PC without a hardware debugger, using the OCDS driver XC166 in Keil? At the moment I have connection to the board through this setup, and when I start debugging, Keil communicates correctly with the board, and uploads the monitor+software to the target, but when i try single-tepping/running through my code, the connection is ?lost? and the program counter is not incremented. It is as if the monitor on target crashes. I would be very grateful of any suggestions towards a solution of my problem, as I'm getting quite desperate.
We have solved that issue in the next upcoming version. We can send you this version if you want. Please send email to: support.intl@keil.com and include version and serial number information of the software that you are currently using.
