Can somebody tell me where could I find a 80c552 emulator?
What kind of emulator?, If you mean ICE, I believe Nohau has one. Have fun, Erik
we are using the hitex MX51 ICE and we are quite content. URL: http://www.hitex.de
Why not check the list of tools from the supplier? http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/products/standard/microcontrollers/tools/8051/ Erik
In case you are talking about an In Circuit Emulator, I would recommend the iSystem iC181. That is what I am using. It is lower midrange price-wise, but it works pretty well and the software is ok to use too and works together very well with the keil development tools. The website is http://www.isystem.com I have my emulator for nearly 4 years now and I have never experienced problems with it. I am using it pretty often. I think, I have paid about US$4000 for it, the 552 POD and software included.
The Ceibo EB-51 serves me very well and cost only ~$1400 Erik
Try Ceibo at http://www.ceibo.com. They have low cost emulators and developement board. With a simple developement board and Mon51, you have a good tool. You can also download demo software from ceibo.
That's right. There you find also a link to our webpage, http://www.phytec.de or http://www.phytec.com , we have a 552 miniModule with a socket PLCC Controller, there you can plug in the hitex or nohau emulator, and work with the same hardware, what you can use in your one application too. Good luck to find the right tools for your development.
