Has anyone tried out the Keil evaluation board with the Crystal CS8900A ethernet controller? How established is Crystal?
I've bougth the kit from Keil. The hardware is fine and functional for basic testing. There included code is FAR from functional. Implementing your own TCP/IP stack is a hard job. Many companies can supply a fully functional TCP/IP stack, but high priced! If your looking for an ethernet connection to your hardware, then you should visit http://www.i2chip.com or/and look for the S7600 from seiko. Both are hardware TCP/IP. For ethernet/modem. Best regards.
We have now a small Embedded Web server implemented with the Keil MCB167 NET board. This project will go on the Web soon as an Application Note. If you are interested in the project now, please send email to support.intl@keil.com.
