Dear reader, I'm looking for some technical details about an IDE/ATA harddrive interface .. Is there someone that has already interfaced a harddisk or flashdisk onto the C167/C166 ? What about FAT16/FAT32 from DOS. Any hints and/or links are very appreciated.... if you know some pitfalls, please post them. Best Regards.
Hi Paul, I looked around for exactly the same thing about 6 months ago, I was interested in attaching a compact flash card (same interface) to a 167, but I couldn't find anything useful! If you do get any information could you post a link to it, as I'm still keen to get it sort out. Sorry I can't offer any help. Andy
US Software has a DOS/WIN95-compatible file system. http://www.ussw.com/products/usfiles/ They don't specifically list the C16x, but I'm pretty sure that it is supported. If you call them to find out, please let the rest of us know. :-) Jon
