When I execute commands with F10 and F11 they sometimes do not work. If I execute the same command from the Debug menu it works fine. e.g. - Pressing F11 on a function call does nothing - Pressing Ctrl-F10 starts execution but does not halt on current line I am using Windows NT 4.0 with SP 6.
I'd never used the hotkeys before, but I've just tried it in uVision v2.07 under Win98SE, and they all work except for ESC - I can't stop execution with ESC. Do your F10 & F11 keys work in any other apps? (eg Word) Do the toolbar buttons and/or menu options work? (NB: they only become active when your cursor is in a valid position) If the buttons/menus work, then it's probably a problem with your keyboard; If the the buttons/menus don't work either, it must be something more fundamental - are you running from FLASH?
Yes, with e.g. Word F10 and F11 keys work fine. But by using Word I found that Ctrl-F10 is used to maximize the document window. And there seems to be a link to uV2. I am always having maximized windows when I debug and encounter the Ctrl-F10 problem (usually Workbench Mode). So I used not maximized windows and voila Ctrl-F10 works ! If I then switch back to maximized, Ctrl-F10 still works ! So for now I see no way to reproduce the problem, maybe after a reboot. Ernst
