EZ-USB_FX development board

We are using the EZ-USB-FX development board. I am wondering if it is possible to layout our own hardware and bring the serial port out, will the keil debugger/monitor runs on our own hardware?

If I am going to do that, is that all I need is to have the serial port pins of the EZ-USB-FX connected to the MAX3232?

Do I need to have the PAL or external memory to make the keil software runs on our hardware?
